10 reviews for The Mortal Instruments 2: City of Ashes

  1. Jaipal Kumar

I loved diving back into the Shadow World! Jace is still my favorite, but some parts felt a little slow. Overall, a great read.

  2. Vedant Jain

I had mixed feelings. The story is captivating, but the dialogue sometimes felt unnatural. Still, I’m invested in the series.

  3. Anurag Jangir

So much happens in this book! Betrayal, secrets, and forbidden love – what’s not to like? The pacing could have been better in some sections.

  4. Prisha Garg

This sequel didn’t quite live up to the first book for me. The plot felt convoluted, and some of the characters were annoying. Still entertaining though.

  5. Ayush Arora

I really enjoyed it, though I felt like there were way too many things happening all at once with little explanation. I rate it Good.

  6. Harshit Makode

Enjoyed learning more about the Shadowhunters and their world. Clary’s character development is interesting, but wish she was less naive.

  7. Anonymous

City of Ashes keeps the momentum going! Clary’s journey is compelling, though sometimes her decisions frustrated me. Enjoyed the twists and turns.

  8. Naman Singh

City of Ashes is a wild ride! The forbidden romance is angsty and addictive. Couldn’t put it down! A few plot holes but easily overlooked.

  9. Pranav Choudhary

A good continuation of the series, but not my favorite. I found some parts predictable. Will still read the next one!

  10. Arijit Debnath

City of Ashes is a fantastic sequel. The stakes are higher, and the relationships are more complex. Definitely recommend!
