Ankit Singh –
I wanted to understand more about ancient Indian science. The book started strong but the middle sections are very complicated and hard to grasp. Still, a good introduction.
Bableen Kaur –
The Sanskrit and transliteration are great for scholars. The English translation is clear enough. It’s a fundamental text, and this edition does it justice. But sometimes difficult to follow.
Mohammed Fayiz Rahman M P –
A must-have for anyone studying Vaisheshika philosophy! The translation is accurate and the notes are insightful. A bit pricey, but worth it for serious students.
Satyapriya –
This book is dense and can be tough for beginners. Some sections are enlightening, but others are unnecessarily complicated. The Sanskrit is helpful for cross-referencing.
Nikhil Garg –
As a student of physics, I found the discussions on atomicity fascinating. However, the philosophical language can be difficult to navigate at times. Overall, a valuable resource.
Khushi Chandani –
I learned a lot about the history of atomism from this book. The categories and logic are mind-blowing. The translation felt a bit dry at times. Overall a great addition to my library!
Aman Arora –
While the book offers a good introduction, I felt lost at times. I had to reread paragraphs several times to understand them. It will be better if it is written more simply.
Ujjwal Pandey –
An interesting read, but quite dense. The translation is helpful, but a background in Indian philosophy is almost essential. I appreciate the effort put into this edition though. It’s a challenging read, but rewarding.
Shashank Kannoji –
Chakrabarty’s translation is excellent. The book provides a comprehensive view of Vaisesika philosophy. But this edition is better suited for academic use. So not good for light reading.
