8 reviews for Quaker Writings

  1. Mohit Verma

An excellent resource for anyone studying Quakerism. It is comprehensive and well-edited. Some entries are more impactful than others but this is expected from such a collection.

  2. Vansh Mahajan

This anthology offers a wide range of perspectives. Some views challenged my own assumptions, which was a good thing. But a few were quite outdated and out of touch.

  3. Harsh Aryan

While informative, I found some of the writings a bit repetitive. Still, it is valuable for understanding the core tenets of Quaker faith. Not a light read, though!

  4. Anukaran Sahu

A solid collection of Quaker thought. Some pieces resonated deeply, while others felt a bit dry. Overall, a worthwhile read for those interested in religious history.

  5. Michael Harris Y

A surprisingly engaging exploration of Quakerism! I went in knowing little about the faith, and came away with a deeper appreciation for its principles. Highly recommend it!

  6. Diya Sharma

A fascinating glimpse into Quaker history and beliefs. I learned a lot, but the writing style in some selections was hard to get through. I’d recommend it with reservations.

  7. Prince Sahu

I appreciated the diversity of voices included in this anthology. It gave me a better understanding of Quakerism, but it was dense at times and could be too academic.

  8. Rohit Bhardwaz

I was hoping for more personal reflections, but this collection leaned heavily towards historical documents. Still a useful resource, but not exactly what I expected.
