8 reviews for The Pursuit of Love

  1. Khushwant Sodhi

Hilarious and heartbreaking. Linda is a mess, but you can’t help but root for her. I loved the french scene. I look forward to read Nancy Mitford’s other works.

  2. Utkarsh Gupta

Mitford’s writing is superb. Linda’s romantic escapades were exhausting. Enjoyable, but not my favorite. The book has good character development.

  3. Anjali Yadav

Light, witty, and surprisingly poignant. A perfect book for a relaxing afternoon. I enjoyed reading it. I will definately recommend it to my friends.

  4. Karisma Panda

Absolutely loved it! A witty and charming story of love and life. I have no regrets about reading this novel. The book is so lovely.

  5. Aditya Bisht

I found it slow in places, but the dialogue is sharp and the characters are memorable. It is good, but I was expecting more. I recommend you read it.

  6. Aditya Dongre

I adored the humor! Some parts dragged a little, especially the descriptions of the war. Overall, a delightful glimpse into upper-class life. I have no regret about reading this book.

  7. Suraj Kumar

Entertaining and well-written, but Linda’s naivete wore thin at times. The ending was satisfying. I would consider reading it again.

  8. Shlok Mohaley

A charming read, but Linda’s choices sometimes frustrated me. Still, Mitford’s wit shines through. The characters are lovely but sometimes shallow. Worth reading.
