I enjoyed the historical aspect, but some of the language was hard to follow. The characters were well-developed though. Worth a read if you like classics.

  2. Shiwangi

I appreciated the historical context, but found the plot a bit meandering. Natty Bumppo is a great character. I am glad I read it.

  3. Nisu Kumari

Cooper’s descriptions are amazing! You feel like you’re right there on the frontier. A must-read for historical fiction fans.

  4. Kanishka

Not my favorite. Found it rather dull and predictable. The writing style was a challenge for me. I struggled to finish it.

  5. Bhairab Borah

A true classic! Loved the descriptions of nature and the early American frontier. A bit wordy, but worth the effort. Highly recommend!

  6. Ranjan Kumar Jha

An interesting look at early American life. Some parts were captivating, others dragged on. Mixed feelings overall.

  7. Sanjeev Kumar

Not the most exciting book, but a solid portrayal of the era. I like the way it portrays a clash of cultures.

  8. Udit Nahata

Enjoyed the historical accuracy and the relationship between Natty and John. It’s a bit long. A very good book.

  9. Vivek Mandal

A bit of a slog. Found myself losing interest at times. The writing style is very dense.

  10. Suman

Good story, though a little dated. The themes still resonate, but it’s not a quick read. Requires patience. Recommend with reservation.

  11. Rohan Singh

A classic for a reason! The writing is beautiful, and the story is timeless. You must read!

  12. Ananya Singh

Wonderful depiction of early America! The characters felt real, and the story was engaging. One of the best books I’ve read this year.

  13. Avish M Bhandari

It was okay. Nothing particularly stands out. I didn’t hate it, but I wouldn’t rush to recommend it.

  14. Deepak Kumar Singh

A decent read, but a bit slow at times. Cooper paints a vivid picture, but the pacing could be better. Overall, an okay book.
