  1. Prashant Choudhary

A classic! Henchard’s downfall is both tragic and compelling. Moyes does a good job bringing this old story to life. Some parts felt a bit slow, though.

  2. Abhishek Gargvansi

Enjoyed the story overall, but the language was a bit difficult to get through at times. Henchard is a complicated character you’ll love and hate.

  3. Rahul Kumar Singh

What a powerful read! The themes of fate and regret really resonated. Highly recommend, though be prepared for some heavy emotions.

  4. Muskan Rastogi

Good story, but I found it hard to like any of the characters. Too much tragedy. Well written, just not my cup of tea.

  5. Aman Dubey

A truly captivating story of a man’s rise and fall. Moyes’ writing is beautiful. A few scenes were a bit drawn out, but overall, excellent.

  6. Rishita Bachani

I found the plot a little predictable, but the character development was excellent. Worth reading for the exploration of human flaws.

  7. Janmayjai Kotawala

This book really made me think about choices and their consequences. Henchard’s pride is his undoing. A bit depressing, but thought-provoking.

  8. Aslam M U

Loved the historical setting and the complex relationships. A story about redemption! Just wish the ending had offered a bit more hope.

  9. Amir Shahasad K.c

The story was interesting, but I struggled to connect with the characters. The ending felt a little rushed. Still, a decent read.

  10. Kalpana Prasad

Henchard is such a flawed character, you can’t help but feel for him. A moving story about human nature. Highly recommend!
