10 reviews for Friends In High Places

  1. Arjun – Malik

Another solid Brunetti mystery! Hancock’s descriptions of Venice are always captivating. The plot was a bit slow to start, but it picked up nicely in the second half. Enjoyable overall.

  2. Ayush

This one wasn’t my favorite Brunetti book. The plot was a little convoluted, and I had trouble keeping track of all the characters. Pretty Average book.

  3. Wagisha Mittal

A decent entry in the Brunetti series. I found some of the side characters more interesting than the main plot, which felt a bit recycled. Okay to pass time.

  4. Rakshita Kanchan

Another great Brunetti novel! Hancock does a fantastic job of weaving together a compelling mystery with insightful social commentary. I was enthralled from beginning to end.

  5. Ritik Sobti

Hancock’s writing is as sharp as ever. The mystery kept me guessing, and I loved the insights into Venetian society. Highly recommended.

  6. Rochan Goel

Enjoyed the Venetian setting as always. The mystery was well-constructed, but I found the ending a little abrupt. Still worth reading for fans of the series.

  7. Allen Samson Hiwale

I’m a big fan of the series, but this one was just okay. The mystery was predictable, and the characters felt a bit flat. Not bad, but not great either.

  8. Priyanshi Kasaudhan

I always look forward to a new Brunetti book, and this one didn’t disappoint. The atmosphere is wonderful. I was invested in the characters.

  9. Satyam Shukla

A classic Brunetti tale! The plot twists and turns kept me engaged. The prose is beautiful, and the characters are compelling. A must-read for mystery lovers.

  10. Nimesh Kumar Singh

Brunetti is back! While the mystery itself was intriguing, I found the political commentary a bit heavy-handed this time. Still a good read, though.
