The art is fantastic, and the story is engaging. However, it does deal with heavy topics, so be warned. I am still invested in Nina’s future.
Shelly –
A powerful story about trauma and identity. Makino’s writing is beautiful. Some parts were hard to read but overall it was a really great book!
Muskan Singh –
Dark, intense, and thought-provoking. Not an easy read, but a worthwhile one. Nina’s journey is heartbreaking, but you are rooting for her.
Abhinav Pandey –
Intriguing premise, but the pacing felt a bit slow at times. Nina’s story is compelling, and I’m curious to see where it goes. Horiuchi is a fascinating character.
Rohan Naik –
I had mixed feelings about this one. I think the plot is interesting, but at times it felt a bit cliché.
Divya Mekala –
I was hooked from the first page! Nina’s struggle is so well-portrayed. Horiuchi seems suspicious though, but in a fun way! I can’t wait for the next volume.
Diya Jangir –
Really enjoyed the book! It’s well written. Characters are interesting. Looking forward to reading the next volume!
Sharique Shafi –
Not Your Idol, Vol. is a good start to what seems like a promising story! Nina’s situation is sad and how she decided to handle is inspiring.
Manoj Singh –
This book was okay. It deals with a sensitive subject and I admire how the author did it. Not my favorite but not bad either.
Himjeet Chetia –
It started off strong, but the plot lost its momentum midway. I was not really a fan of Horiuchi. Nina is an amazing character though!
