Valley Issar –
Not my favorite epic poem, but I can appreciate its historical significance. Some parts dragged a bit. Solid edition, though.
Nishanta Saikia –
This edition is great for students. The analysis helped a lot. The story is a bit dense in some places. I liked the love story element.
Chilaka Alan –
I had to read it for class but I actually ended up enjoying it! Good translation, good notes.
Muskan –
Worth reading, even if epic poems aren’t usually your thing! The Aeneid tells many great stories.
Abhishek Kumar –
The commentary helped me understand a lot of the references. There’s a lot of names and places.
Soumyadeep Banik Chowdhury –
I struggled to connect with Aeneas as a hero. The historical context was interesting, but I found the plot slow-moving.
Rahul Bajaj –
This version is great and includes helpful notes, but I felt it loses some of the original’s poetic language.
Nirbhik Kumar Baid –
A solid edition with useful insights. The Aeneid is a classic that you have to read in your life.
Drishti Paul –
The Aeneid is a cornerstone of Western literature, and this edition makes it accessible. The commentary was very helpful, and it made reading easier.
Mayank –
An epic tale of fate and heroism. This edition really brought the poem to life. I enjoyed the historical context provided.
Bableen Kaur –
A bit long for my taste, but overall a good read. The insights were valuable. There were many interesting things.
Arushi Bansal –
A classic for a reason. The translation was readable, though I found some of the footnotes distracting. Worth the read!
Rachit Gupta –
A very important epic, but it’s not as exciting as The Odyssey. Still worth checking out!
Zeshan Ashraf –
I found the poem a bit difficult to get into at first, but once I did, I was hooked. Good edition.
