Reviewed in India on 28 February 2024 Format: PaperbackVerified Purchase One of the most exciting read I had in last months. I love the concept, I love the Thrill and I love the writing. It's more like a movie to me where I was visualising every scene. The story is based on a Young Journalist named Frankie who is sent to investigate a possible coup by General Jogmer a formal Army Chief. He goes to Rajasthan where Jogmer is organizing a grand festival. And then he encounters with Jogemer's Son who also involved with daughter of a billionare. He also witness a film shoot and two murders that complicates the situation. As the story continues we get to see the intensity between characters. The phase of love bewtween younger Jogmer and Billionaire daughter, a passionate chemistry between them unveils. A phase with intensity where you believe the wind flows your way. It adds a layer of complexity in the Story as the lust, love and intensity continues to grow and which makes you hard to believe that is it genuine or a trick. The books continues to get thrilling and interesting. It also has a good mixture of humour, history and politics. Power, Loyalty, Corruption are few major themes which are explored in this book. Over all I loved the Character Frankie. Author wrote him very well. One more character which deserves to get attention is Misha. You will love them too if u just give it a read. The writing is comfortable and no hard to read. The book was completely worth of my evening. Hope you experienced the same. 2 people found this helpful Helpful Report Vridhi 5.0 out of 5 stars Very engaging read Reviewed in India on 2 March 2024 Format: PaperbackVerified Purchase I became a huge fan of Ajaybir Garkal and this books that have mystery, suspense, some romance, and a way of keeping you on the edge of your seat. Well, I'm not going to reveal the whole storyline as I don't want to spoil your curiosity to read this book. A murder,an investigation to begin being welcomed by another murder. So is it just about political revenge or much more than that. Like a nice thriller story, all answers are found in due course of the plot. This book is no exception. It is quite a read. I found the plot very interesting and the narration quite gripping. You should definitely check it out! The two main characters are extremely likable- Frankie, Misha. Jaisal and Jayati share a good bonding and their interactions are quite hot. Their bickering, evolving chemistry, and intense desire were all portrayed very nicely but I really didn't like the fact that he cheated on Jayati with Sonal. One minute you think everything is perfect and the next you are like, what the heck happened? It’s another certified page turner that has you completely gripped and reluctant to put it down.
