   A mixed bag. Some stories really grabbed me, others fell flat. The elderly woman’s tale was fantastic! I wish there was more consistency, but when it hits, it really hits.

   The translation felt a bit clunky at times, but the stories themselves were intriguing. The concept of reliving ghost got my attention. A decent horror read.

   I enjoyed the translation. Matkari’s stories are definitely unique. A bit too slow-paced for my taste, but the atmosphere was well done. Worth a read if you like supernatural suspense.
