   As a history enthusiast, I found this book insightful. It provides a good overview of coins from various dynasties in Northern India. But the quality of the images could be better.

   A decent introduction to the coins of Northern India. Rodgers covers a lot of ground, but sometimes lacks depth. Still, a good starting point. I would have preferred a few color plates.

    The book needs another round of editing. It can be confusing and difficult to locate some areas. It should be better organized.
